Yup it’s been a long minute since I last posted anything. Much has happened since the last proper post. I went on a 7-day diet and added 1kg but trimmed down immensely but don’t ask me how such a phenomena went down. I also went on 3 week leave from work. Managed to sort many things financially, business wise and especially mentally. I suspect with the way the year started in Kenya many of us hadn’t quite rested mentally over the holidays!
I duly came back to work after Easter and started organizing my boyfriend’s joint birthday party which went well but along with it came some mild depression. It’s been a long while since I had a relationship last this long and for me to show someone and the world how much I care! So basically the last week was tight in terms of a roller coaster of emotions but that passed along eventually.
The passed weekend was great! Made it for the Bamburi Series finals… sadly my team didn’t fare too well and by 10mins to the end of the game I started jotting down my shopping list. Sunday was quite an interesting day as we managed to get up early and be at the KCB Rally before the 1pm showdown! Despite the long driving and the dust it turned out to be a very interesting day.
Basically I’ve been well and blessed to enjoy my days! Yet to re-kick-start my poetry and other fun things that will be coming up in my life… will keep you posted (pun intended).
