Right I am hereby hitherto thereafter faced with the following dilemma.
Observe situation one:
- Adult human beings must drink 8 liters of water a day
- So I decided to follow the said laws of living
- Manage some loose 5 liters a day
- But must pee every 15 – 30 mins
- Meaning that I leave my desk to head to toilet
- Meaning that I am walking up and down the office
- Meaning I might just be wasting valuable time on work
- Meaning I’ll be late for next deadline
- Deadline isn’t moving so…
- I get frustrated and might lose some sleep
- Lose some sleep…wake up tired…
- Have tired day and not 100% as productive as I should be
- Not as productive as I should be frustrates me even more
- Frustrations lead to face bursting into stress pimples
- Go to Doctor who says, “You must increase your intake of water!”
- I go like, “Wha..!?!?”
Observe situation two:
- Adult human beings must drink 8 liters of water a day
- But due to the above observation I decide not to take as much
- Don’t take as much so as to reduce trips to toilet and hopefully get enough sleep
- Therefore I sit at desk and work conscientiously
- But one night (of sound sleep) I awake with fever
- Next is a horrible day at work coupled with diarrhea, some nausea and sharp pain when I pee
- I ignore but by end day I’m in severe pain
- Make quick appointment with Doctor
- Struggle to get to Doctor – due to pain
- Quick and conclusive tests show I have UTI
- Caused by mild dehydration
- Doctor says “Maybe you should increase your intake of water and here are some pills for seven days.”
- I go like, “Wha…!!?!?!”
Conclusion:
To drink or not to drink water – that is the dilemma!?
