A friend is currently trying to address the issue of the Luo & Kikuyu love connection with fate & history. When did the differences arise? Why do we love-to-hate each other so much? Why can’t the sons & daughters of the Victoria lakeside live in perfect peace and harmony with the descendants of Gikuyu & Mumbi – off the slopes of Mount Kenya? Is it possible for the charm of the Doluo and the business acumen of the Kikuyu can work hand in hand in the economical, politically & romantic arenas of life for the benefit of the country? How many marital homesteads have been torn apart by the mere mention of such unions?
Kenya has had a long history in this context starting with the forever-contentious Wambui & S.M Otieno saga in the early days of our beloved nation… Join this raging debate on Kumekucha and add your comment to sizzling hot pot.

Is that a proposal? Plus how would a possible marriage between us change the course of history? There have been many Luo/Kikuyu marriages that haven’t done much to change the face of this current dilemma…
